Safe Zone Checker for Thumbnails & Shorts

See where platform controls may cover text, logos, captions, or faces before you publish.

Safe Zone Previewer

Upload an image to preview a centered 9:16 crop with platform safe zones.

Choose how strongly risk areas are highlighted in the analysis preview.

Platforms keep the full 9:16 image but may place buttons, captions, and controls over these regions. The default is 60%. This choice affects only the analysis preview and never changes the clean export.

Clean 9:16 is ready for publishing and contains no overlay. Analysis Preview is a reference copy containing the danger-zone shading, center grid, and cyan safe-zone outline. Both files are created locally; your image is never uploaded.

Keep Important Content Clear of Platform Overlays

Vertical-video apps place captions, profile details and action buttons over the image. A headline or logo that looks well positioned in an editor can therefore become difficult to read after it is published. The Safe Zone Checker gives you a practical preview of those occupied areas before the design goes live.

Upload an image and choose TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Display Lab places a representative interface overlay above your design. You can adjust its opacity and enable the center grid and safe outline to inspect composition without altering the original file.

Use Single mode for one design or Batch mode to review several variations together. Images are previewed in your browser, while the optional share action creates a lightweight report. Platform interfaces can change, so treat the overlay as a design guide and leave comfortable space around essential content.
