Frequently Asked Questions
Find clear answers about Display Lab tools, PRO access, payments, restoration, privacy, and support.
What does “Lifetime” or Founding PRO Access mean?
Access is guaranteed for at least 364 consecutive days beginning August 8, 2026 at 11:00 Europe/Bucharest time (through August 7, 2027 at 11:00 Europe/Bucharest time), and may continue afterward for as long as Display Lab remains operational. This is not a perpetual service guarantee. The displayed start date is controlled from the Display Lab administration settings, and the end is calculated automatically at 364 consecutive days. A later administrative change applies to future purchases and does not reduce the contractual rights attached to an earlier purchase. The applicable dates and Terms are shown before payment and accepted again during Stripe Checkout. See the Pricing page and Terms of Service for the complete offer.
I cleared my browser. Did I lose PRO?
Clearing browser storage removes the entitlement saved on that device, not the purchase record. Open Restore PRO Access and enter the email used during checkout or your saved API key. Existing PRO restoration remains available when new payments are paused.
Can I use PRO on another device?
Yes. Visit the restoration page on the other device and restore with the checkout email or API key. After a successful match, Display Lab saves the PRO key locally on that browser. Keep the key private and do not publish or share it with unrelated users.
Why are payments paused?
The administrator may temporarily disable new purchases during testing, maintenance, or commercial review. When payments are paused, Pricing and PRO prompts clearly display Testing Mode or Pro Coming Soon and the checkout API refuses new sessions. Free tools and the restoration of previously purchased access remain available.
Are uploaded images stored on the server?
No. Images selected in Display Lab tools are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. Generated previews are downloaded directly to your device. Read the Privacy Policy for complete details.
Are safe-zone overlays exact?
They are practical previews based on representative platform interfaces, not permanent guarantees. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, devices, and app versions can change their controls or cropping. Leave comfortable space around essential text, logos, captions, and faces, then verify important work on the current target platform.
Does the contrast result guarantee accessibility?
The checker calculates the numerical contrast ratio and displays relevant WCAG AA and AAA thresholds. Contrast is an important accessibility check, but a passing ratio does not certify an entire design or product. Text size, typography, hierarchy, interaction, alternative content, and user testing may also matter.
Can you review my thumbnail?
Display Lab provides automated visual checks and educational guidance, but does not currently promise individual creative reviews. You can still send feedback about a confusing result or suggest a workflow that would make the tools more useful.
Can I request a new platform preset?
Yes. Include the platform, content format, device, and a link to official layout guidance when available. Screenshots showing current interface controls are helpful when you have permission to share them. Send the request through the Contact page.
How quickly will I receive a reply?
Most genuine support messages receive a response within 24 hours on business days. Weekends, holidays, complex bugs, and requests requiring database or payment-provider investigation may take longer.
Where should privacy or deletion requests go?
Email traian_an@yahoo.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. Use the relevant checkout or contact email and describe the data you want accessed, corrected, or deleted. Do not send card numbers, security codes, passwords, or a complete API key.
Still need help?
Visit the Contact page and include the relevant URL, browser, device, steps to reproduce the problem, and the exact error message.
